Porsche Boxster 2.7, year 2002, located in Northern Italy, with 166,650 km, manual transmission, petrol, silver colour, 220 HP, matching numbers and colours, service book available, valid MOT, 2.7L flat-six engine, European registration (French plates).
Description from the seller
HIGHLIGHTS:
• 6-cylinder boxer engine, naturally aspirated 2.7 L, liquid-cooled, 220 HP
• Vehicle with French plates, supplied with a complete service book and two sets of keys
• Equipped with new tires and electrically adjustable leather seats with memory function
HISTORY/PANORAMA:
The Porsche Boxster (986 series), introduced in the late 1990s, represents the first generation of the renowned German mid-engine roadster from Stuttgart. Designed with a rear mid-engine layout to ensure optimal weight distribution, it offers brisk performance, rear-wheel drive, precise steering, and four-piston brake calipers. This specific example originally came from Philadelphia (USA SPEC), has an indicated mileage of 166,650 km, and currently has French plates.
BODYWORK/PAINT:
The body presents in generally good condition and has undergone a full repaint to remove scratches accumulated over time. However, there are some residual scratches and paint marks due to the vehicle’s age. The soft top is in perfect condition. Currently, the car is fitted with non-original front and rear lights; before pickup, the rear lights will be restored and mounted in the same color, in like-new condition (as shown in the last photo). The FM antenna mount is damaged.
INTERIOR:
The cabin is in normal condition with usual signs of wear. The car is equipped with electrically adjustable leather seats with memory function; the leather on the seats is partly damaged and the steering wheel shows signs of wear. Some controls and features on the dashboard appear slightly faded. The car has the original radio system.
MECHANICS:
The car is mechanically sound and powered by the 2,687 cm³ flat-six engine delivering 220 HP at 6,400 rpm and 260 Nm of torque at 4,750 rpm. The braking system is functioning and the battery is in good condition. There is no rust, except for some traces on the exhaust silencer. Sporadic illumination of the windshield washer fluid warning light is noted and the service belt needs replacement. Ordinary maintenance is recommended. The car is equipped with new tires.
DOCUMENTS:
The vehicle is supplied with French plates and with the circulation documents visible in the attached photographic documentation. There is the service book with maintenance invoices over the years and two ignition keys.
The car is located in northern Italy. The vehicle must be picked up in person and will not be shipped by the seller. Offers are understood to be excluding ownership transfer or deregistration costs for export and transportation, unless otherwise specified. The ownership transfer procedures or the documentation costs for export are the buyer’s responsibility.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
