Description from the seller
Blend
50% Sangiovese, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc.
Vinification
In wooden tronconical vats of 5,000 liters capacity, at controlled temperature (26–28 °C) with skin maceration for at least 22–25 days.
Aging
24 months in French oak barriques and at least 12 months of bottle aging.
Sensory notes
Deep ruby red with very light garnet hues. The bouquet is immediately fruity with hints of syrupy amarena cherries, blueberries and raspberry jelly. Followed by notes of vanilla, licorice and nutmeg with balsamic wisps of eucalyptus and toasty notes of Arabica coffee and gianduia chocolate. As it opens ever more to the nose, it expresses memories of black pepper and star anise. On the palate it is soft with an enveloping warmth that makes it pleasant, tasty and balanced.
