Antique Baroque wooden heraldic coat of arms dating to the 18th century from Italy, a monumental wood sculpture with a Conte crown, 53 cm wide, 31 cm high and 12 cm deep, in excellent condition and unsigned.
Description from the seller
At auction, a monumental heraldic coat of arms of a noble family with the crown of the noble title of Count (9 balls).
The coat of arms is a sculpture in antique wood; very old restorations, traces of ancient wood-borers, and old repairs are visible.
The genealogy is inscribed on the crown.
This coat of arms was undoubtedly displayed in a noble residence of a Florentine family.
The sculpture is of considerable size and is ready to be exhibited in a high-representation setting.
The hook on the back is very rusty, and this confirms its authenticity and historicity.
In a remote hypothesis it could be the apex of an arched doorway.
Congratulations to the future owner of this specific object from the past.
