Sculpture, Frutta in vetro di Murano - 16 cm - Handmade Murano glass - Large centerpiece with Murano glass fruit - 1960

Splendid and scenographic Italian centerpiece in Murano glass, made up of a large transparent hand-made bowl and a rich collection of multicolored glass fruits.
The bowl features an elaborate undulated and pierced rim, with a strongly plastic and dynamic form. Inside sit numerous individually made fruits: pineapple, pear, banana, apple, chili pepper, red fruit and a cluster of grapes, characterized by intense bright colors and different glass techniques.
Particularly successful is the pineapple (it has a small chip on the green top), with a yellow body modeled in relief and a green crown applied, and the small cluster of grapes, made up of many berries and applied leaves.
A cheerful, rich and strongly decorative ensemble, representative of Murano's artistic glass tradition and perfect as an important centerpiece or decorative element. Special attention will be given to packing. As in the photo.
