Salt and pepper container set - Bakelite

Charming Art Deco Bakelite salt and pepper duo, featuring a red cherry and an orange amber pear, mounted on silvered metal stems adorned with leaves.

A particularly decorative set, typical of mid-20th century Austrian design, with a highly sculptural aesthetics blending organic shapes, amber colors, and worked metal.

The two containers are Bakelite, with their original metal caps. They each feature 5 small holes on the top.

Marking: “Made in Austria”
Dimensions: about 3.5 cm for the container; 7 to 8 cm with the stem depending on the model.
Color: cherry red and amber orange.
Condition: good vintage condition, with some signs of use and oxidation/patina on the metal, consistent with their age.
