Chest of drawers - Commode, chest of drawers, chest of drawers, sideboard, buffet - Oak wood - First patina

Very fine French oak curved front cabinet with 4 + 1 drawer chest or commode.
Between the two narrower drawers on the top row there is a hidden or secret drawer.
Panelled sides, with decorative carvings. Solid oak top, beautiful patina, good quality. Drawers run well and the drawer bottoms are also of their time. Placed from front to back.
Elegant and era-defining Louis XV legs as well with good carving, though worn.
Brass handles, 18th century cast and (partly) gilded. Locks and two keys work.
Back panel also with panels in frame work like a chest.
France ca. 1740-1780

H = 80 cm.
W = 129 - 134 cm. (narrowest to widest)
D = 53 - 59 cm. (shallowest to deepest)

Recently thoroughly checked for loose construction parts and veneer. No live woodworm found on 7/10/2026
