Christofle Gallia – Art Deco Tea Set with Serving Tray – Model 5834 – France, c. 1930s
Elegant French Art Deco tea service comprising a Christofle Gallia teapot and covered sugar bowl, model 5834, accompanied by a large silver-plated serving tray.
The Christofle Gallia pieces feature beautifully faceted octagonal bodies, stepped pedestal bases, decorative borders and fitted lids. The teapot has an elegant curved spout and contrasting dark wooden handle.
The undersides bear the Gallia hallmark and model number 5834.
