Description from the seller

Rare external 35mm viewfinder with an exceptionally low profile. Originally created for the Nikon S2 camera. The presented model was modified by a mechanic in Japan to lift the viewfinder slightly, for better usability on e.g. Leica iii cameras, on which it was used until now. The viewfinder was also modified to add an additional cold shoe, that is attached by four screws. The viewfinder itself is very bright and clear, with a few dust specs, which are not visible when looking at a scene through the viewfinder.
