Wall mirror- Vintage Dutch hallway cabinet / mirror with comb tray and 2 clothing brushes - Wood

Charming and strikingly complete vintage Dutch hall furniture (brush mirror) from the period 1930–1950. This type of compact wall furniture was traditionally hung in Dutch corridors and vestibules so that just before leaving you could quickly comb your hair and brush off clothing or jackets.

The piece features a beautiful, characteristic design with an elegantly shaped back panel. In the center is the original mirror in the shape of a shield or trapezium, with below it nicely stylized wood carving in Art Deco style.

On either side there is a metal hanging hook with the two original wooden clothing brushes with dark bristles. At the bottom, the piece is fitted with a semicircular, integrated wooden tray (originally intended as a comb tray or for small accessories such as keys). The back is equipped with sturdy hanging eyes.
