Description from the seller
Prestigious Porcelain Tableware Service – Heinrich & Co. (Selb, Bavaria), circa 1960
GOLDENE MEDAILLE IX. TRIENNALE DI MILANO
Gold Medal at the 9th Milan Triennale
This monumental 144-piece table service represents a sublime example of the high-end craftsmanship of Heinrich & Co. of Selb, one of Bavaria's most renowned districts in the world for white gold work.
The Porcelain: characterized by a candied white, translucent and finely crafted finish, typical of the best Bavarian tradition.
The Pattern: The design is sober and aristocratic, finished on the edge with an elegant geometric fretwork and a delicate border in fine gold that brightens every single piece without weighing down its pure lines.
The Mark: On the bottom of every element is stamped the prestigious Heinrich & Co. – Selb Bavaria factory mark, certifying its authenticity and high collectible value.
