Magnificent cake or tart platter produced by Baccarat, model "Matte Alternating Ribs" patented in 1893.
Marked on the base with "BACCARAT".
Molded in clear crystal, with alternating frosted crystal. Very high quality and the resonant crystal typical of Baccarat productions.
Attached is an excerpt from Baccarat's 1893 catalog, featuring the model "Côtes alternées dépolies".
This platter is over 100 years old and in very good overall condition. Normal signs of use. Presence of a few non-serious chips on the foot. (The photos are part of the description).
