Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
A Belgian orange glazed stoneware table lamp of the 1960s in the mid‑century modern Bubble or Cascades design, 60 cm high, with one E27 Bakelite fitting, in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear and in working order.
Description from the seller
"FlowerPower-Flair" pur...
"Massive" floor lamp from Belgium, 1960s–1970s, in exceptionally good condition.
An authentic piece from the Space Age / Pop Art era in bubble or cascade design.
The bright lampshade features a color-matched orange bouclé stripe along the lower edge, which is characteristic of the pop-art aesthetics of the time.
The material: For its cast lamp bases, Massive used exactly this bright, fine tone.
The underside: Belgian ceramic bases of this kind were hollow-cast so that the power cord could be guided upward without complication. The marking was exclusively via silver or gold paper labels ("Massive"), which sat on the smooth glaze and over the decades were usually flaked off during cleaning.
The design: Massive was famous for drawing on Scandinavian glass trends (such as Alsterfors’ or Flygsfors’ bubble design) and bringing them to the European market as pop, more affordable ceramic versions.
Up for sale here is a beautiful, superbly preserved design classic from the Pop Art era!

Lamp base:
Height with socket: 35 cm, diameter 11–14 cm

Lampshade:

All information is provided to the best of my knowledge and belief. Please refer to the attached photos. Any flaws are marked. Color deviations from photo to original may occur. Signs of use and/or storage are not excluded due to age. Irregularities in glaze and ceramic are typical for the product type and do not constitute a defect.
In light of current circumstances:
If, despite careful packaging, your lot arrives damaged, have the carrier confirm the transport damage in writing immediately and take detailed photos.
According to EU law for courier companies, in the case of damaged international shipments, the recipient must report the damage to their local carrier within 7 days of receipt. Only after the recipient (you) has received a damage certificate can I, as the seller, claim compensation. Please do not bid if you do not accept this.
WARNING:
DHL is restricting parcel shipments from Germany to the USA due to new US customs rules.
For private customers, for now only packages to the USA declared as gifts and valued up to USD 100 (currently about EUR 86) are allowed.
Shipping gifts with a value over USD 100 or commercial goods is currently not possible via postal shipping under the new US customs regulations. In this case, private and commercial shipments can use the expensive DHL Express service. It is also likely that these shipments will be checked more strictly than before to curb abuses of sending private gifts to ship commercial goods.
Before you bid, please inform yourself about the new import regulations in your country.
If you still want to win a lot from me, I ask you for a 100% correct address (please check in your Catawiki account) to ensure reliable delivery. If the package cannot be delivered properly, substantial costs (postage, customs duties and taxes) will be incurred for its return to me. I will reclaim these costs if necessary.
