AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Beautiful and legendary pack of the Ligier Gitanes F1 Team duo of teammates who competed in the Formula One World Championship (1979).
- Jacky Ickx: Helmet used by the Belgian driver (1979-Ligier-Gitanes). A very original design, mimicking the old goggles used years earlier. He participated in a total of 122 Grands Prix, achieving 8 wins and 25 podiums.
- Patrick Depailler: Helmet used by the French driver in his penultimate season in F1. He secured 2 wins and 19 podiums. Tragically, he passed away in 1980, during practice for the German Grand Prix.
Spark. Flip-up visors. Included decals/stickers "Gitanes".
Sold as a second-hand item but very well cared for and in perfect condition.
Certified shipping and carefully packaged.
