Herend - Set of 3 Hand-Painted Porcelain Serving Dishes - Queen Victoria Style
Description
Elegant set of three hand-painted porcelain serving dishes by Herend, Hungary, decorated with refined orange-red floral and butterfly motifs and highlighted with gilt details.
One of the pieces is marked 203/VBOH, corresponding to an orange variation of Herend’s well-known Queen Victoria / Victoria Bouquet decoration. The three dishes form a harmonious decorative group, consisting of two similarly shaped handled dishes and one larger scalloped dish with a sculptural side handle.
The decoration features finely painted flowers, butterflies and ornamental borders, combined with delicate gold-painted rims. The pieces show the characteristic craftsmanship and decorative quality associated with Herend porcelain.
Each piece bears the blue “Herend Hungary – Handpainted” factory mark on the underside, together with handwritten workshop or pattern markings.
Dimensions
Approx. 20 × 17 × 6 cm each.
Condition
Good overall condition, with light signs of age and use consistent with vintage porcelain. Please carefully examine all photographs, as they form an integral part of the description and clearly show the condition, decoration and factory marks. Any minor wear to the gilding or painted decoration visible in the photographs should be considered part of the condition.
