Commemorative medal for the 50th Anniversary of the Victory, an 18-carat gold (750) decoration issued in 1968 (law no. 263 of 18 March 1968) by the Italian State and awarded to the veterans and combatants of World War I. The medal is affixed to a tricolor ribbon (green, white and red) and kept in its original box with a blue velvet interior. On the obverse it bears the inscription "50th ANNIVERSARY OF THE VICTORY" with the dates "1918-1968", while on the reverse it usually depicts a helmet with a star and laurel and oak branches. The work was designed by engraver Libero Mancinelli. The weight of the medal alone is 5.8 grams.

Medaglia commemorativa del 50° Anniversario della Vittoria, una decorazione in oro 18 carati (750) emessa nel 1968 (legge n. 263 del 18 marzo 1968) dallo Stato italiano e conferita ai reduci e combattenti della Prima Guerra Mondiale. La medaglietta è fissata su un nastrino tricolore (verde, bianco e rosso) e conservata nella sua scatola originale con interno in velluto blu. Sul dritto presenta la scritta "50° ANNIVERSARIO DELLA VITTORIA" con le date "1918-1968", mentre sul rovescio raffigura solitamente un elmetto con stella e rami di alloro e quercia. L'opera fu disegnata dall'incisore Libero Mancinelli. Il peso della sola medaglia è di 5,8 grammi.
