Architectural base - 1930-1940

A superb malachite pediment, carved from a solid block of deep green bull´s eye malachite, measuring circa 11,7 x 10,2cm and weighing 983g, polished, with bevelled edge.

Estimated age: First half of the 20th century. Made in Belgium with stone sourced from the copper mines of the Belgian Congo.

Condition: Overall very good. Small chip to the corner, no further significant damages or repairs.
