AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

A delightful 19th century solid valuable porphyry Grand Tour French or Italian architectural model of a column, with twisted Solomonic shaft, the spiralling flutes resting on an arched column on octagonal base for a height of 30cm and weight of 3126g.

The round top plate is not original and is made of serpentine instead of porphyry, but a good match.

Condition: Very good. A few small chips to the rims, no further significant damages or repairs. See pictures for an overview.

This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
