This exceptional Moroccan pouf was handmade from an authentic vintage Boujad rug originating from the Haouz region of Morocco.
Its richly textured wool surface features a warm and expressive palette of terracotta, burnt orange, faded red, old rose, brown and subtle green accents. The naturally aged colours and abstract Berber motifs give this piece a strong artistic character.
Different sections of the original rug were carefully assembled by hand to create a generous square pouf while preserving the thick wool pile, original patterns and beautiful vintage patina.
Each side presents a different composition, making this pouf a unique decorative object that cannot be reproduced identically.
It can be used as an ottoman, low seat, footstool or statement piece in a living room, bedroom, lounge or reading area. Its warm tones work particularly well with contemporary, bohemian, rustic and eclectic interiors.
