Ptolemaic Stele – 3rd -1st century BC
A Ptolemaic limestone stele depicting a dedicant offering vases to a deity. On the pediment, winged sun-disk above two uraeus-snakes. 3rd - 1st century BC. Broken and restored at the top.
Provenance: Former private collection (France; before 1965).
Published in V. Carpano, Une collection particulière, BIFAO 94, 1994, p. 62, fig. 28.
Attached import certificate from Spanish Ministry of Culture. Attached export certificate from France.
