A faux antique double-bed sheet (decorative set). An authentic masterpiece of Italian textile craftsmanship dating to the Liberty period (pre-1914). The piece stands out for its exceptional execution and museum-quality condition, ideal both for purist collectors and as a luxurious accent furnishing element (monumental runner, headboard, or curtains).

Key Features & Needlework:
Fabric and Authenticity: Made in pure heavy, tactile antique linen. The semi-sheer weave clearly highlights the characteristic "flame marks" and the small irregular thread knots, unmistakable evidence of artisanal spinning and the subsequent beating on early 20th-century manual looms.
Central Monogram: At the top dominates a majestic, sinuous floral monogram with the intertwined initials "T" and "S" in elegant period cursive script, masterfully executed in relief satin stitch.
Cutwork (Lacework): The letters and the rich trailing botanicals (characterized by umbrella-like flowering heads and symmetric foliate motifs) are finished with a fine cutwork stitch, whose openings are impeccably clean and stable thanks to perfect needle-link bars.
Double Sheer Border and Lace: The decorative base is defined by a double order of horizontal openwork counted by threads: an inner linear ground in a line stitch (columns) and a rich outer band in hourglass-shaped lilies cutwork. The edge is finally finished with a delicate Valenciennes-inspired lace hand-applied.
