Description from the seller

Antique Art Nouveau / Early Art Deco Pendant Lamp – Green Etched Glass & Copper, c. 1920–1940
An attractive early 20th-century European pendant lamp featuring a decorative cylindrical green and clear glass shade.
The upper section of the glass has a rich green colour, gradually transitioning into clear glass. The body is decorated with an elegant frosted/etched botanical design depicting stylised hanging fruits or flowers surrounded by foliage.
The decorative treatment and combination of coloured glass and copper-toned metal show influences of late Art Nouveau / Jugendstil and early Art Deco design.
The glass shade is held by a copper or copper-plated metal gallery with three retaining screws. The top features a white porcelain cable guide together with a metal suspension loop.
Approximate dimensions:
Height of glass and metal fixture: 21–22 cm
Diameter: 10–11 cm
The lamp is in working condition, as shown in the photographs.
The glass appears to be in good antique condition without obvious major cracks or chips. The copper/metal components show attractive natural patination, oxidation and minor traces of age and use.
The electrical cable and plastic inline switch are later replacements and are not original to the lamp. Due to the age of the item, the electrical installation should be inspected by a qualified electrician before permanent use.
No visible manufacturer's signature or mark has been identified.
Period: circa 1920–1940
Style: Art Nouveau / Jugendstil – Early Art Deco
Materials: decorated glass, copper/copper-plated metal, porcelain
Condition: good antique condition with age-related patina and traces of use.
