Authentic antique cobbler's anvil/form in heavy cast iron, dating from the period 1899–1920
The set is complete with all of its original parts:
Flanged base with side holes prepared for secure bolting to a wooden workbench, vertical arm with a cast-iron shoe-shaped piece perfectly stable and fitted into the central joint
The engravings reveal its originality and history (for collectors); several original marks are hot-impressed directly into the casting bearing the factory mark "CHEF" — an industrial line of excellence of the era
The overall condition is excellent for its age, solid and very heavy, showing a beautiful patina of time with natural oxidation (protective rust)
