This hand-knotted Gabbeh rug is characterized by its dense, continuous stripe pattern and a particularly warm, harmonious color impression. The entire surface is designed with fine horizontal lines that run across the rug in a slightly irregular rhythm, giving it a lively, artisanal texture.
Colorwise, orange, rust red, brown and warm beige tones dominate, complemented by fine olive green and yellow accents. The individual stripes alternate densely, creating a varied yet calm overall effect.
The slightly irregular line work underlines the hand-knotted character of the rug. It completely forgoes a medallion or classic ornaments – the effect arises solely through color, rhythm and the natural texture of the surface.
With its nearly square dimensions of 205 × 200 cm, the rug is especially suitable for living, sleeping or work areas and acts there as a warm, clear focal point.
