1. JBE SERIES 3 – Vintage Direct Drive Turntable + SME 3009 S2 Improved + Sumiko Olympia
Description
Legendary JBE Series 3 turntable, Italian version with solid wood plinth and metal top, complete with original transparent plexiglass cover.
The model is from 1978/79, designed in England. Direct drive with 24-slot / 8-pole motor, the same used by Goldmund. Speed 33 and 45 rpm with fine adjustment, external power supply included. Special 6-mass aluminum platter for high inertia and vibration damping. Wow & Flutter 0.07% – Rumble 72dB.
Conditions: WORKING, tested. Wood in good condition, metal without deep corrosion. Plexiglass resting cover present with normal signs of age. Original microsorber feet.
Tonearm: Original SME 3009 S2 Improved, J-rod, Blue Ortofon cartridge shell.
Cartridge: Sumiko Olympia (Oyster series) MM – nude elliptical stylus, aluminum cantilever, 4mV output, recommended tracking weight 2g. Few hours of listening.
Sound: detailed, stable, wide soundstage, perfect for audiophile listening or vintage collection.
