Pair of Art Nouveau toilet furniture in wood, marble and mirror - c. 1900.

Elegant pair of toilet tables or bedside tables with Art Nouveau influence, made in solid wood and veneered, featuring rectangular marble tops in cream and pinkish tones.

Each piece has a top drawer and a lower compartment closed by a door, preserving period metal hardware. The fronts are decorated with floral carvings and oval insets with vegetal motifs. At the bottom they have slatted shelves, supported on straight legs.

The elevated backs integrate rectangular mirrors, topped by carved floral pediments. The doors open in opposite directions, confirming that this is a true pair.

- Origin: Continental Europe, probably France or Italy
- Era: Early 20th century, approximately 1900–1920
- Style: Art Nouveau; Liberty Style
- Materials: Solid wood and veneer, marble, mirror and metal hardware
