Small Art Nouveau inkwell with a thick colourless glass body and a Portuguese silver rim and lid, origin Portugal, period 1850–1900, dimensions 6 × 3.5 × 4 cm, in good condition with minor signs of aging and stains.

Small Art Nouveau inkstand in glass and Portuguese silver - Boar II, c. 1900.
Small desk inkstand consisting of a square, thick colorless glass body, molded and faceted, with an interior circular reservoir. The collar and hinged lid in Portuguese silver. The circular, domed lid is decorated in relief with alternating smooth wavy bands and granulated fields and small vegetal motifs, in an Art Nouveau-inspired composition. It bears the Boar II assay mark, corresponding to Portuguese silver of approximately 833 fineness, used between 1887 and 1937.
