Collector interest
Astro Boy is one of the defining characters of Japanese manga and animation, created by Osamu Tezuka. Original Japanese promotional material featuring a large, classic representation of Astro Boy has strong decorative appeal and is increasingly collected beyond the traditional movie-poster market.
This example is especially appealing because Astro dominates the composition while the original DVD-release information clearly documents its 2003 Japanese promotional context.
