Abdoulaye Derme - Sculpture, Lévrier assis stylisé - 25 cm - Bronze

Description:

Elegant sculpture depicting a seated greyhound, recognizable by its slender silhouette, long neck and fine legs. The deliberately stylized treatment gives it a contemporary and decorative appearance.
The surface features a very beautiful patina greenish-gray (vert-de-gris) nuanced with bronze, ochre and gold tones, with variations and irregularities that emphasize the artisanal character of the piece.
The calm posture and clean lines of the greyhound give this sculpture a strong presence while maintaining a great visual lightness. An original decorative piece, ideal in a contemporary interior or among a collection of animal bronzes.
