Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
A Rosenthal porcelain vase from Germany designed by Rosemonde Nairac (1960–1970) in the Rosenthal Studio-Linie, with dimensions 27.5 x 25 x 11 cm, in excellent condition with slight signs of wear and age.
Description from the seller
Beautiful porcelain vase produced by Rosenthal in Germany with a design by Rosemonde Nairac.
The clean form in white porcelain is enhanced by an original geometric decorative motif at the lower part, composed of curvilinear elements arranged in a fan-like pattern in shades of antique gold and brown, separated by thin white lines. The radial rhythm of the composition creates a striking optical effect, giving the piece a strong modernist and Op Art character.
The vase perfectly embodies the search of Rosemonde Nairac, a designer trained at the Royal College of Art in London and a Rosenthal collaborator since 1966. Her design was based on a careful relationship between form and decoration, developing geometric, abstract motifs inspired by nature and the textile world. An elegant example of Rosenthal Studio-Line production, particularly interesting for design and porcelain enthusiasts of the second half of the twentieth century.
Measurements 27.5 x 25 x 11 cm
Excellent condition, no defects.
