Description from the seller

A reliquary dating from the 20th century, enclosed within a complex and elaborately shaped bronzed frame with rococo volutes.

The interior composition, protected by the original glass, presents a rich decorative arrangement crafted with the paperolles technique and gilded canutiglia. In the center, elegant scroll elements in decorated paper in delicate green-gold tones stand out, framing the main compartments.

The interior houses 8 relics displayed with handwritten Latin cartouches:
Center (in the place of honor on a red background):
Ex Spinea [Corona D.N.J.C.] – Sacred Thorn of the Crown of Our Lord Jesus Christ
Ex Fune [D.N.J.C.] – Sacred Rope of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ
On the sides and along the perimeter (on a punched gilded background):
3. S. Josephi Sp. B.M.V. – Saint Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary
4. S. Joan. Ap. Ev. – Saint John the Apostle and Evangelist
5. S. Philippi Neri – Saint Philip Neri
6. S. Veronicae – Saint Veronica
7. S. Antonii Pad. – Saint Anthony of Padua
8. S. Francisci A. – Saint Francis of Assisi
Back and Seals:
On the back, the silk threads are original and the seal in cardinal red wax.

The reliquary contains no human remains.
