Red fox (Vulpes vulpes) taxidermied, prepared in 1995 in Italy.
Full-body specimen, preserved on its original wooden base.
The animal was found dead in the countryside by the current owner's grandfather and subsequently entrusted to a taxidermist for preparation. The specimen has remained in the family collection since its preparation.
The fox is posed in a seated position, with the body and tail complete. Normal signs of aging compatible with the age of the specimen are present.

L'animale fu rinvenuto morto in campagna dal nonno dell'attuale proprietario e successivamente affidato a un tassidermista per la preparazione. L'esemplare è rimasto nella collezione familiare dal momento della preparazione.
La volpe presenta una posa seduta, con corpo e coda completi. Sono presenti normali segni del tempo compatibili con l'età dell'esemplare.
