Description from the seller
This fascinating crinoid freeform comes from Indonesia and is an extraordinary testament to ancient Earth's history. The bright, spiral- and star-shaped structures in the gray to olive-colored rock are fossilized remnants of crinoids (sea lilies) that lived in the oceans millions of years ago. Through natural polishing, these fossils stand out impressively and give the piece a unique, almost artistic appearance.
Crinoid fossils are not only geologically significant but are also regarded as stones of durability and grounding. They connect us with the power and calm of nature and remind us of the eternal cycle of life.
This freeform is a one-of-a-kind collectible that convinces both as a decorative mineral object and as a spiritual symbol. A perfect companion for collectors, nature and fossil lovers who want to preserve the beauty and history of past worlds in their home.
