The Kuifje album L'Affaire Tournesol, an early 1962 reprint (T18) published by Casterman, hardcover, edition Herdruk, by Hergé in French, is in very good condition with only minor internal discoloration on the first and last pages and guard leaves caused by an old protective sleeve.

This lot concerns the Tintin album 'L'Affaire Tournesol' in an early reprint from 1962.
This edition can be identified in part by the back cover BDM B32.
In this album, the debut of Serafijn Lampion. The insurance agent appears for the first time on page 5 of this album, and later becomes one of the recurring figures in the final adventures..
Detail description states: very good condition. For the most part, the album is in excellent condition. However, the tape from an old protective sleeve has caused discoloration on the endpapers at the front and back, and also on the first and last pages. See the photos. Otherwise, the album is in excellent condition. The cover and spine are beautiful, the corners nicely sharp. The book block shows (apart from the aforementioned flaw) mainly at the beginning a limited number of light discolorations, but for the most part is in excellent condition. The entire item is uninscribed.
