AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
This wooden rotating wall lamp is a characterful example of Dutch design from the late 20th century, dating roughly to 1970–1985. The lamp is produced by Steinhauer Apeldoorn, a renowned name within the Dutch lighting industry.
The design is characterized by a segment-shaped, rotatable wooden arm, executed in warm-toned solid wood. In combination with the opal-colored shade, this provides a soft, pleasant light diffusion. The lamp is fully adjustable and therefore very suitable as a reading lamp, bedside lamp, or targeted ambient lighting.
The form closely matches interiors from the 1970s and early 1980s, with clear influences from Scandinavian and Dutch living styles of that period. At the same time, the lamp can easily be combined with a contemporary interior thanks to the timeless material use.
A decorative as well as functional design object with a recognizable vintage appearance.
