Zeiss Ikon Nettar — folding camera with Novar-Anastigmat 75 mm f/4.5 lens - Circa 1950s (estimated).
A Zeiss Ikon Nettar folding camera, with a black-covered body and a silver-finish top plate. It features a hinged front cover, extending bellows and articulated metal struts supporting the lens assembly.
Equipped with a Novar-Anastigmat lens bearing the inscriptions “1:4.5” and “f=75mm”. It incorporates focusing, aperture and shutter-speed scales, as well as an optical viewfinder, accessory shoe and tripod socket.
The Zeiss Ikon mark appears on the front of the body, and the Nettar inscription is displayed on the hinged cover.
It shows dust, signs of use, surface scratches, spots and wear to the finish, with small areas of finish loss along the edges. The bellows show surface wear along their folds. The camera’s operation and the light-tightness of the bellows have not been tested.
