The distinctive feature of this set lies in the beauty of its handles. The handles feature exquisite floral and botanical motifs engraved, typical of Art Nouveau or the Belle Époque, with exquisite finesse.
On the handles of the knife and fork, you can admire the master marks of the French silversmith "RC" for Robert & Caon (visible in the detail image). This mark, a diamond containing the initials "R" and "C" with a clover leaf at the center, is the hallmark of artisanal work of high quality carried out by recognized master silversmiths. It attests to the authenticity of the silver and the origin of the set (late 19th – early 20th century).
