Minerva Bambola Bebè, size 13, made in Germany by Minerva, with a pink dress and lace cap, in good vintage condition and with jointed head, arms and legs; the eyes mechanism may require adjustment.
Description from the seller
Minerva - Baby Doll in Celluloid "Size 13" with dress and bonnet - Germany - First half of the 20th century
antique baby doll produced in Germany by the renowned Minerva manufactory.
Authenticity guaranteed by the factory stamp impressed on the back of the body: the inscription "MINERVA" with the helmet logo, the origin indication "GERMANY" and the size/mold number "13". Made presumably in the classic glossy celluloid that made the brand famous. The doll features a head, arms, and legs that are jointed (neotenic baby-like arched legs).
Hair styled with delicate shading, blue eyes of the moving/sleeping type, and an open mouth.
The doll comes with charming antique-flavored attire, consisting of a peach/pink dress adorned with small floral decorations along the hem and a lace bonnet secured by a white cotton ribbon.
Condition:
The item is in good vintage condition. The celluloid retains excellent gloss. It should be noted that the eye mechanism might require servicing, as the left pupil appears slightly misaligned in the images. The dress is in good preserved condition.
The attached photographs faithfully document the marks and aesthetic conditions of the lot and should be considered an integral part of the description.
