This is an original Art Deco vase from Boch Frères Keramis of La Louvière (Belgium), designed under the direction of the famous chief designer Charles Catteau (or his workshop) around the 1920s–1930s.
Decor D. 1230 & Form 960: a distinctive stoneware decoration (Grès Keramis) with stylized birds and flow motifs.
Ovoid / Egg-shaped: A broad, rounded body that gradually tapers toward the top.
Short, constricted neck with an upstanding collar: The black edge at the top tightly finishes the rounded form.



Dit is een originele Art Déco vaas van Boch Frères Keramis uit La Louvière (België), ontworpen onder leiding van de beroemde hoofdontwerper Charles Catteau (of zijn atelier) rond de jaren 1920–1930.
Decor D. 1230 & Vorm 960: specifieke steengoed-decor (Grès Keramis) met gestileerde vogels/stroommotieven.
Ovoïd / Eivormig: Een brede, bolle buik die naar boven toe geleidelijk smaller toeloopt.  
 Korte ingesnoerde hals met opstaande kraag: De zwarte rand aan de bovenkant sluit de bolle vorm strak af.
