Folding wooden game box/chest with Backgammon game - 1950s-1960s
The inside is lined with a fabric playing board and metal pegs.
There are 15 white and 15 black large playing pieces, two metal tubes covered with black fabric, and 2 vintage dice made of 'butterscotch' Bakelite (1.5 cm)
Diameter of a playing piece is 4 cm. The tubes are 10 x 7 cm
The game is housed in a wooden box that can be closed with a nice brass latch.
Dimensions of the game box: 9 x 4 x 30 cm
The box is used and shows signs of age (scratches) see photos

Opgevouwen houten speeldoos / kist met Backgammon spel - jaren '50-'60
Binnenkant is bekleed met een stoffen speelbord en metalen spijkers.
Er zijn 15 witte en 15 zwarte grote spelschijven , twee metalen kokers bekleed met zwarte stof en 2 vintage dobbelstenen van 'butterscotch' bakeliet ( 1,5 cm ) 
Doorsnede van een spelschijf is 4 cm. De kokers zijn 10  x 7 cm
Het spel zit in een houten kist die met een mooi koperen  slotje kan afgesloten worden.
Afmetingen speldoos : 9 x 4 x 30 cm
De doos is in gebruikte staat en vertoont ouderdomssporen ( krassen ) zie foto's
