Ferrari poster, model 360 Modena (Type F131), designed by Shmidt.Art, produced in Italy in 1999, size A1 (594 × 841 mm) with dimensions 59.4 cm by 84.1 cm, condition A (excellent).
Description from the seller
A premium automotive poster dedicated to the 1999 Ferrari 360 Modena (Type F131) — the mid-engined V8 berlinetta that introduced a new generation of Ferrari road-car engineering and design.
This artwork presents the Ferrari 360 Modena through a clean technical blueprint composition, combining precise front, side and rear elevations with a large top-down view, dimensional references and detailed engineering specifications.
A New Generation of Ferrari
Introduced in 1999 as the successor to the F355, the Ferrari 360 Modena represented a major technological step forward for Ferrari’s road-going V8 models.
Developed with Pininfarina, its flowing bodywork marked a clear departure from the sharper lines of earlier Ferrari berlinettas. Beneath the body, Ferrari introduced an extensively aluminium construction that reduced weight while improving structural rigidity.
The name Modena paid tribute to the Italian city closely associated with Enzo Ferrari and the origins of the company.
Mid-Engined V8 Engineering
At the heart of the 360 Modena is a naturally aspirated 3.6-litre V8 mounted longitudinally behind the passenger compartment.
The engine produces 400 PS at 8,500 rpm and is paired in this specification with a six-speed gated manual transmission, sending power exclusively to the rear wheels.
Its five-valve-per-cylinder architecture, high-revving character and naturally aspirated response helped make the 360 one of the defining Ferrari V8 models of its generation.
Design & Aesthetic
The poster uses a warm ivory background with restrained black, grey and burgundy detailing inspired by traditional Italian engineering drawings and factory technical documents.
The composition features accurate front, side and rear elevations together with a dominant top-down illustration showing the cabin, exterior proportions and visible mid-mounted V8 beneath the rear glass engine cover.
Fine dimensional markings, technical specifications and a period-inspired Ferrari Controllo Tecnico Maranello 1999 stamp reinforce the archival engineering character of the artwork.
Poster Details
Size: A1 (594 × 841 mm)
Orientation: Portrait
Subject: Ferrari 360 Modena (Type F131)
Year: 1999
Engine: 3.6-litre naturally aspirated V8
Displacement: 3586 cc
Power: 400 PS
Torque: 373 Nm
Transmission: 6-speed gated manual
Drive: Rear-wheel drive
Layout: Mid-engine, longitudinal
Structure: Aluminium spaceframe
Top Speed: approximately 295 km/h
0–100 km/h: approximately 4.5 seconds
Engineering Significance
The 360 Modena marked an important transition in Ferrari road-car development. Its aluminium chassis and body construction represented a substantial engineering change compared with the steel-intensive structure of the preceding F355.
The combination of lightweight construction, a naturally aspirated high-revving V8 and mid-engine balance established the technical formula that would continue to evolve through later Ferrari V8 berlinettas.
Collector’s Appeal
Today, the Ferrari 360 Modena occupies an increasingly important position between the analogue Ferrari sports cars of the 1980s and 1990s and the more technologically advanced models that followed.
Examples equipped with the traditional six-speed gated manual transmission are particularly appealing to enthusiasts because of their mechanical driving experience and connection to an increasingly rare era of Ferrari road cars.
This poster is ideal for Ferrari enthusiasts, collectors of modern classics and admirers of Italian automotive engineering. It works particularly well in a home, office, garage, workshop, showroom or automotive collection.
