Omnitronic BD-1550 Professional Audiophile High End High Fidelity Turntable of the top class!
A rarer, high-quality, very heavy vintage turntable from the Omnitronic BD series, designed as a professional DJ studio drive.
With operating manual, transparent playing needle protection, and a rare DMC-antistatic-feeling platter mat.
- Highlights are the pendulum-mounted curved tonearm,
- high-quality, new Audio Technica AT 3600L suitable for Back-Cueing cartridges,
with new Audio Technica ATN 3600L playback needle,
mounted on ultralight Audio-Technica aluminum headshell,
- extremely fast start-up due to strong motor; extremely short braking time via belt,
- remote start function possible via 3.5 mm plug connector on the back,
- Quick-Start feature,
- extendable illumination for the auto-lift, needle illumination,
- elegant, shock-absorbing chassis, in silver, with shock-absorbing feet,
- illuminated stroboscope platter,
- removable tonearm head via SME screw-system mounting,

The Omnitronic BD-1550 features a belt drive
Precision drive belt is new,
for purists in combination with the console,
and the feet, due to the damping effect of footfall and rumble noises,
appreciated unchanged.
Speeds of 33 and 45 RPM are adjustable, and each illuminated,
which are also pitchable by +-10%, also illuminated.
It is operated manually – the tonearm is manually placed,
and at the vinyl end manually returned to the tonearm rest.
For safe lifting and lowering of the tonearm, for example when searching for a track, the damped tonearm lift ensures this.
Illuminated adjustable speed indicators, as well as Play/Stop function button.
Precisely balanced weight-balanced pendulum-bearing suspension system for the S-tonearm,
with adjustable anti-skating.
RCA double-Cinch cable and ground cable are integrated.
