Description from the seller
As exquisite as its contents.
Every Anhalt bottle is unique.
Just as every Anhalt Digestif is unique. The mouth-blown glass is set in a walnut frame with rounded edges. "You can't do it like that – the spout so off-center," the digestif expert heard again and again while searching for a glassblower. "I want it exactly like that," he replied – and let the last two glassblowers who hadn't given up prove their craft. A bet with a glass temperature of 1,500 degrees and three winners: the Slovenian glassblower Mario, the digestif expert, and the connoisseur.
Good things come from abundance.
Without a screw or a drop of glue, the stainless steel clip, made of cold-rolled chrome-nickel, is set into the wood. Each individual bottle is engraved, numbered, and marked with the vintage of the digestif, thus personalizing it.
The hand screw closure
It opens and closes precisely with a 1/3 turn. It's milled from a solid block of wood – like so much at Anhalt: quality comes from solid materials. The whole pear. The whole piece of walnut wood. The whole piece of stainless steel.
"There's no bottle that pours so perfectly," says the digester. And hardly any digestif that pours so perfectly.
