Description from the seller

Elegant Desk in English XX Century English Marina Style

Important desk in English marina style, made in the 20th century, characterized by a solid structure and a refined wood finish in warm brown-reddish tones. The large rectangular top is embellished with three leather-cuoio colored inserts, decorated along the perimeter with elegant gold filleting.

The front features five drawers, with a wide central drawer flanked by two stacked drawers on each side. The fronts are enriched with decorative profiles and completed by handles and gold metal fittings.

A particularly distinctive feature is the base, composed of turned and fluted supports connected by horizontal crosspieces, also turned in the central part. The curved feet with dark terminals provide stability and complete the desk’s aesthetics. The sides also feature framed paneling, in harmony with the overall setting of the piece.

A desk of great presence and generous proportions, ideal for furnishing studies, libraries, offices, or prestigious classic environments.
