Alessandro Mandruzzato - Vase - Crystal - Murano

Gorgeous, heavy, faceted crystal vase produced with the Sommersotechnik technique, where layers of colored glass are skillfully blown over one another. This vase has a brilliant deep green core that fades into a subtle amber-yellow / honey color layer, wrapped in thick, solid clear glass.
The design was executed by Alessandro Mandruzatto in Murano, Italy. The vase features a very sleek, geometric, and modernist Mid-Century modern design with razor-sharp facet-cut sides.
The vase bears an original red, paper factory label with the text V.A.M. Vetri Molati - Made in Murano.
On the bottom there is also a round authenticity/quality label.
