Vintage decorative fruit carved in Italian marble
A refined selection of vintage decorative fruit, mainly crafted from marble and natural stone, of Italian manufacture.
The various fruits are carved and finished with great attention to naturalistic rendering: apples, peaches, mandarins, figs and other subjects, characterized by the different veining and natural tones of the stone.
Particularly interesting is the Italian marble workmanship, capable of reproducing the shapes, surfaces and colors of fruit with notable realism. A kind of decorative object highly appreciated in Italian interiors in the second half of the twentieth century.
