Märklin 37913 in HO scale: the aerodynamic streamlined steam locomotive of the 03.10 series from the Deutsche Reichsbahn–Gesellschaft, produced in a uniform gray paint with the inscription "No 2002". The flowing aerodynamic fairing over the chassis, cylinders and mechanism makes this one of the most distinctive German high-speed locomotives of Era II, and the gray variant gives the model a particularly striking presentation, different from the usual black and red variants.
This is an exclusive Sondermodell that Märklin produced for the sixth MHI members’ meeting in 2002. The model was not marketed through ordinary channels and was produced in a limited edition.
The model features a metal cab for the locomotive. Three axles are powered and equipped with anti-slip strips. On both ends there is a three-point front light that switches white/red depending on the direction of travel. The locomotive is equipped with an integrated digital decoder and with Märklin hook-and-coupler between locomotive and tender.
Packed in the original Märklin packaging. Condition: the locomotive and tender are in excellent condition, with almost no wear. The gray paint is uniform and intact, the slight spacing of the ribs and panels of the aerodynamic fairing is crisp, the inscriptions are clear and the accessories are complete and undamaged.
