Description from the seller

Complete Description
Rare and fascinating antique table/bedside lamp produced by the renowned Milanese manufacturer Lamter Milano between the 1960s and 1970s.
The piece still retains, inside the base, the original vintage metal maker’s label with the inscription:
"Industria Lampadari Lamter Milano – Made in Italy"
This is an extremely rare and valuable element that testifies to its authenticity and significantly increases its collecting appeal.
Technical Specifications and Precise Dimensions
Total height of the lamp: 20 cm
Circumference of the spherical diffuser: 60 cm
Maximum diameter of the sphere: about 19 cm
Total weight: 1.02 kg
Weight of the glass diffuser alone: 950 g (notable, thick artistic glass with notable texture and quality)
Lamp holder: Original vintage socket with standard E27 thread
Glass and Handcrafted Craftsmanship Characteristics
Hand-Blown Art Glass: The spherical diffuser is made according to traditional Murano school techniques. It features a satin/etched (acidified) external finish and is enriched by an amber/nut-brown band fused hot directly into the glass during blowing.
Unique Piece and Manual Imperfections: Being completely handmade by a master glassmaker without rigid industrial molds, the diffuser does not have a perfectly regular spherical shape or absolute symmetry. The slight asymmetries, inhomogeneities, and micro-imperfections of the spherical form are typical physiological characteristics of hand-blown vintage glass and constitute tangible proof of the object’s manual craftsmanship.
Base, Wiring and Conditions
Base and Structure: Circular metal base with a golden/brass finish, equipped with internal ventilation holes for dissipating heat from the bulb, a construction detail typical of high-quality Lamter production.
Operation and Wiring: The lamp is perfectly functional. It retains the power cord and the original vintage plug (compatible with standard domestic outlets).
Condition: The glass diffuser is in excellent condition, intact, without cracks, chips, breaks, or restorations. The metal base and the vintage fittings show a natural and fascinating patina of time, with slight and normal signs of use/oxidation consistent with an original item over 50-60 years old.
Packaging and Shipping
The item will be professionally packed with extremely high protection (thick bubble wrap, reinforced box, and cushioning material) to guarantee the absolute integrity of the glass during handling. Trackable shipping
