Tapestry (2) - 31 cm - 25 cm - Saint-Étienne tapestry

Lot of very beautiful tapestries in Stéphanoise silk, made at the end of the 19th century. Saint-Étienne was one of the places in France where weaving developed throughout the 19th century.

The first tapestry depicts a noble couple from the 18th century. The second depicts Napoleon.

The tapestries are in good condition and still have beautiful colors.

They are in frames gilded with gold leaf (at least for one of them).
