Pompon spent most of his life in the service of other artists. He directed Rodin's workshop from 1890 to 1895, then became the assistant to René de Saint-Marceaux until 1916. In search of his own style, he was greatly influenced by the rise of Japonism and his admiration for Egyptian art.
It was only at the age of 67 that he attained fame, with the exhibition of his famous White Bear.
Parastone has been successfully creating decorative objects for almost 50 years, some of timeless classical beauty and others more in line with prevailing trends. The Mouseion collection of museum pieces forms a significant part of the collection. In addition to faithful copies of major artworks, the Mouseion series also includes three-dimensional interpretations of paintings and drawings by many artists, from Hieronymus Bosch to Salvador Dalí.
“decorative object, luxury item, table art, collector, interior decoration, statuette, sculpture, no Orlinski”
