Sculpture, PORTATRICE D'ACQUA - 44 cm - Bronze

Splendid Vintage Bronze Statue - Oriental Water Carrier
44 cm, 2 kg
A refined vintage sculpture in solid metal (bronze), depicting an Oriental female figure (rural water carrier) in traditional dress, engaged in carrying two baskets suspended on a yoke.
The piece stands out for its strong Orientalist taste and attention to detail, visible both in the decorative textures of the dress and in the features of the face.
The metal is solid, not hollow, as demonstrated by the solid base and substantial weight.
The casting bears no signatures or visible marks, placing it within the fine decorative production of the first half of the 20th century.
